COVID-19 Update - To Our Patients

We take your health and safety very seriously here at Pathology Reference Laboratory. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want to assure you that we follow health and safety procedures every day and are taking extra care during this time above and beyond our daily cleaning and sanitizing to include:

  • Upon check-in, our team at the front desk will be asking every patient if he or she has had a fever in the last 24 hours.

  • Providing hand sanitizer at entry and exit points to help stop the spread of any bacteria and it's being used by our team

  • Sanitizing the rooms, door handles, and hard surfaces with industrial sanitizer

  • Requiring employees to stay home if sick

Our office will remain open and maintain its normal hours and operations.  Our employees has always followed sanitation protocols to help ensure our patients' well-being. We will continue to sanitize all patient chairs after every patient encounter, while continually wiping down our wait area and front desk.

Here's how you can help. If you or a household contact (ex. child, live-in relative, etc.) is experiencing a cough, fever, or other cold or flu-like symptoms, or, if you have traveled to a country that has tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 3 weeks, please call us to reschedule your appointment.  Please come to your appointment alone if possible.

You can also adhere to the following CDC recommendations:

  • Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing the nose, coughing, or sneezing.  Soap and warm water is best, however, when it is not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Avoid touching the eyes, nose, mouth.

  • Avoid close contact with people who may be sick.

  • Cover a cough or sneeze with a tissue, then, throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
